The long journey came to a close tonight on
So You Think You Can Dance. The final four dancers,
Joshua Allen,
Twitch Boss,
Courtney Galiano and
Katee Shean came back tonight to find out which of them has won the title of America's Favorite Dancer plus a pot of $250,000.
To keep them company and to entertain us all at home for the two-hour broadcast, the rest of the top 20 dancers came back, many of them to reprise some of the judges' favorite routines. (Unfortunately,
Jessica King was not in attendance tonight, likely due to her injury.) Along with these encore performances, there were many guest performers as well. This was by far the most entertaining episode of the entire season. I know rationally that it lasted two hours, but I didn't even notice the time going by. It was
that entertaining. Read on to see what happened.
Well, here's the important news first. Courtney was eliminated first. Then Katee, but there was a surprise tonight. This year, the producers of
So You Think You Can Dance wanted to award the top guy and the top girl, so Katee came away with a second place prize of $50,000. Not too shabby. So it was down to the two hip hop boys, and in the end, Joshua was crowned the fourth winner of
So You Think You Can Dance.
