Season 6 of 'So You Think You Can Dance' Premieres with Strong Numbers
Thursday, September 10, 2009
Last night's premiere of So You Think You Can Dance debuted with solid
numbers, especially considering it was up against a momentous Presidential speech carried by all the other major networks. In fact,
in the 8pm hour the only thing that out-performed So You Think You Can
Dance was the Presidential address. Which, considering the cat-calls, may have been more dramatic than a So You Think You Can
Dance audition episode after all.
Presidential speech be damned, because 6.5 million of you tuned in to FOX to
welcome season 6 of So You Think You Can Dance. Of course, the true
test comes next week, when So You Think You Can Dance is paired against
other reality shows and not a policy speech. However, considering the caliber of talent we saw last
night, we're certain SYTYCD has nothing to worry about.
