Born on August 19, 1987 in Killen, AL, Joy Spears recently graduated from Brooks High School. She started dancing at the age of 3 with formal dance training on the field of ballet, jazz, hip hop and lyrical dance. Aside from dancing, she also loves to model, sing and design costumes. Ultimately, Joy became part of the dance show So You Think You Can Dance Season 2. She hopes the show will be a jumpstart to her career as a professional dancer. She was partnered with Dmitry Chaplin until she was eliminated on Week 2, alongside Jason Williams.
