Ivan Koumaev was born in the Far East of Russia. He got inspired by the movie Breakin' and pursued dancing since then. He recently graduated from high school and is currently a professional dancer. His specialty is hip hop dancing but his other talents include playing football, basketball and video games. Ivan was a top 6 finalist on Season 2 of So You Think You Can Dance. He was partnered with Allison Holker until Week 5, but was eliminated on Week 8 with Natalie Fotopoulos.
