During last week's So You Think You Can Dance results show, head judge Nigel Lythgoe lost all of his British reserve and fastidious manners when the audience booed his harsh critique of tween sweethearts Nathan Trasoras and Mollee Gray. In a moment that reminded us why British TV audiences used to refer to Nigel as "Nasty Nigel," he spun in his judges chair and hissed at the audience to "shut up." Certainly it was not gentlemanly or really, head judge behavior.

Well, Nigel realizes the error of his ways, though even in his twitter apology, he's not fully ready to play nice. Here's what Nigel had to say about his little outburst:



He's sorry America, but you made him do it. Tune in tomorrow night to see if Nigel is on better behavior of if his mood is still getting the best of him.
