This morning I had the pleasure of chatting with Bianca Revels, who was rather shockingly eliminated from So You Think You Can Dance last night. Bianca was a fan favorite and a familiar face to So You Think You Can Dance viewers, after auditioning for seasons 4, 5, and successfully for season 6.

Bianca masked her disappointment with positivity and hopeful thoughts of the future, but you could tell that being eliminated by the judges who supported her so much was a big blow to Bianca. Bianca kept a brave face and chatted with us about her Broadway routine, what made her audition season after season, and what she hopes is next for her now that her So You Think You Can Dance journey is done.

On How She Discovered Tap:

"I first discovered tap when I was three years old. My mom used to play old school music when she cleaned and I danced around and I had no rhythm, so she put me in dance class. Out of all the genres, I loved tap the most. It was my first love."

On What Made Her Come Back to So You Think You Can Dance Year After Year:

"Over the years of trying out, every year I noticed that I grew not only as a dancer, but as a person. Like I always say, they never had a tapper on the show and I was the first one to bring exposure to it. So I figured, if I opened the door, why not walk through it."

On Being Eliminated Before America Got A Chance To Vote:

"It is definitely kind of a bummer to not have been able to be voted on. I would have liked to see what America thought of the tappers doing other genres. I would have liked to see that. Just to have that feedback and just to know what people think of tap and tapping on the show. But, it doesn't end here. God had me on the show for the amount of time he wanted me there, and I'm meant to do other things. Maybe this is a beautiful foundation for something else."

On Her Final Routine:

"I think I did give 110%, but you have to be very careful with a praise dance. Because when you let go of everything, then the dance technique tends to be sloppy. When you're going to be judged on technique and performance  you have to keep that in mind. I think both Victor and I did.  Ultimately, you win some, you loose some."

On What's Next For Her:

"I want to get into movies. I also act and I model. Halle Beery is one of the people I've really followed as someone who maintained herself in the industry. And how classy she is. I'm hoping to be the next Halle Beery in the next couple of years."
