Now, if this is true, this is going to be a pretty surreal experience for you
So You Think You Can Dance fans.
SYTYCDism reports that three of the dancers from
SYTYCD's fourth season--Katee Shean, Kherington Payne and Comfort Fedoke--will show up in a future episode of
Glee. Now that's one for cross-promotion, huh? Nothing's confirmed yet, but the word is they'll be appearing as "juvees" on episode 13, "Sectionals", which airs December 9. Or, as it obviously implies (and as all of us gleeks know), when New Directions competes in sectionals.
Now, as a
SYTYCD followed and half-diehard gleek, I'll try to connect the dots. Remember the three schools McKinley High's glee kids will compete against? The school for deaf kids (who'll perform John Lennon's "Imagine") and what Mercedes calls the place for female juvenile delinquents? Well, that must be the place! So if there's anything we can expect from this, it's that that group will have some mean dance moves that should rival anything that Will choreographs.
If that is really the case, then we might--again, might--expect the three former
SYTYCD contestants on episode 11, "Hairography",
which features rapper Eve as an instructor from a rival glee club. I'm still guessing she's heading up the club from those juvee kids, and if my theory holds correct, then we might see these
SYTYCD stars on two
Glee episodes.
Whether it happens or not, it's gotta be a pretty interesting (and I must say amusing) role for these three. And, yes, a good opportunity for cross-promotion, too. So, maybe, when
American Idol comes along we can expect Simon Cowell to show up, or Randy Jackson going "yo, yo, yo dawg!" on Artie...
