The nominations are out for the 2015 Emmy Awards and HBO’s Game of Thrones leads all programs with 24 nominations. FX’s American Horror Story: Freak Show is close behind with 19.

On the Drama side, Netflix did extremely well with House of Cards and Orange Is the New Black, plus several acting nominations for its newest drama, Bloodline. Taraji P. Henson was nominated for FOX’s Empire, but the show was left out of the Drama Series race. Perhaps the biggest surprise is that Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany was finally nominated in her third season.

On the Comedy side, the biggest story isn’t who got nominated, but who didn’t. The Big Bang Theory and its four-time Emmy winning star Jim Parsons were both snubbed. Meanwhile, Parks and Recreation got in for its final season while Amazon scored with Transparent and Netflix got in with Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
