E! has just added yet another program to its roster of celebreality series.
Snoop Dogg's Father Hood, the network's latest attempt to boost its Sunday night niche, stars the infamous rap star, Snoop Dog, also known as Cordozar Calvin Broadus, in a half-hour series that takes viewers inside his private life as he reveals what really makes him tick.
While some people know Snoop Dogg from his music, most people have no idea who he really is. In his new reality series, he'll be showing his true colors as he continues to pursue his career, while raising a family and becoming a role model for his kids.
Aside from Snoop Dogg, viewers will also have the opportunity to get to know his wife Shanté, who is also known as Boss Lady on
Father Hood. As the strong-willed matriarch and takes pride in her role as the glue that keeps the family together, she takes care of all the needs of her family, while Snoop continues to create a unique career path with eight Platinum-selling albums under his belt, along with various endeavors, numerous films, books, and even clothing that continue to attract fans. Of course, the family wouldn't be complete without their three children, Cordé, Cordell, and daughter Cori, who all face with typical tween issues as they get themselves into some misadventures and wholesome mischief.
Also included in Snoop's household is Anthony, the son of Snoop's hair-braider, Tasha.
Anthony has been welcomed by the family ever since he showed up at Snoop's house ten years ago. He's been taken in as part of Snoop's clan and is now referred to as their oldest son.
Adding more chaos is Snoop's extended family, which consists of various characters such as the Hennessey-drinking Uncle June Bugg, the leopard-print leather pantsuit wearing chef Uncle Reo, the white hip-hop head Kevin, and body guard Big Keyes, just to name a few.
Watch out for this vibrant clan as it serves up their fair share of calamity, humor and drama each week on
Snoop Dogg's Father Hood, beginning this Sunday on E!
