While on the set of Smallville earlier this year, BuddyTV had the opportunity to talk to some of the central cast members. Each of their interviews were great in their own way, but it's now time to, once again, reflect on where we've come from this season. At the time, they were filming "Identity" and we got to watch them film the opening scene. We watched as they filmed shot after shot to create the special effects of Clark's superspeed as he rescues Lois. Just as we were leaving, in fact, Erica Durance was filming her fight scene. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to film fight scenes and special effects until 6 in the morning.

But Erica was a trooper. It was cold and late and she still managed to give an awesome interview. Allison Mack came in on her day off to talk to us. Aaron Ashmore was charming as usual. Cassidy Freeman was friendly and welcoming and even introduced us to her dog. (Although we didn't get to interview him, Tom Welling was completely welcoming and stunning as ever) They were all such wonderful interviews. But which one was the best? My vote is on newcomer Cassidy Freeman. She gave an amazing interview despite being completely new to the cast.
