There are two more original episodes of
Smallville in February and thanks to
Kryptonsite we have the titles for both.
February 8 brings us 'Trespass'. According to the CW, this
Smallville episode is largely
Lana centric. Lana receives a photograph of herself getting dressed and becomes fearful for her safety. She takes up refuge in an unlikely place (sorry no details.) Also, Jimmie finally dumps Chloe after the events of Crimson revealed she still has a thing for Clark. Kryptonsite indicates some medical staff has been cast for the episode so look for more baby trouble for
Lana.
February 15ths is 'Freak'. Kryptonsite tells us that this
Smallville episode is about Tobias, a young man
MOSTLY blinded by the second meteor shower. Apparently, the shower gave him the ability to see others who were affected. When in the presence of someone who has gained powers from the meteors, they will glow green in his sight. Digging deeper, we found out that Tobias gets enlisted by
Lex to hunt down people with abilities for experimentation.
Lana is fearful that Tobias will finger
Clark so she offers him a cornea transplant to restore his normal site. But Tobias has information for Lana about her baby that may shake things up considerably. Could it be
Lana has a little glow in her belly?
If you read between the lines you can see that some major shakeups may be coming to the
Smallville universe with these episodes, particularly 'Freak'. While it would be too devestating for
Smallville to go this route, can you imagine if Clark's cover was blown or if Lana's baby is revealed to belong to the young-man of steel? under normal circumstances I'd say the producers of
Smallville would likely shy away from such major changes, but in this day of the 'mega twist' it's believable that they might just take the plunge.
