Smallville star Allison Mack recently took a break from playing Chloe Sullivan to star in a short film called Alice and Huck.  The film is a labor of love for the young actress, as it was written and directed by two of her best friends.  She is now hoping to raise money to complete post-production work, and when the film is finished she plans to send it to various film festivals around the country.  If you can't wait that long to see a glimpse of Mack in action, a teaser for the short has also popped up online.

On AllisonMack.com, the movie is described as "a short film that explores desire and missed connections in a universe where it’s possible to try and try again."

Mack recently talked about the joy of making the film in a post on her official website, saying, "It felt so good to be a part of a project from its inception, to be a part of creating something from start to finish and really feel like I was a part of the whole process.  I can’t tell you all how incredibly fulfilling this was.  I so encourage all of you to be a part of something like this at some point in your life.  Find the thing that you love doing, the thing that you feel the most inspired and excited by… And do it!"

In order to raise money to complete the film, Mack is selling Alice & Huck related merchandise on her website, including t-shirts, signed posters, and keychains.  She's hoping for a grand total of $7500, and has hopes of getting the movie marketed and distributed after raising the funds.
