The ides of March bring wedding bells for Lex and Lana on
Smallville, and what a more appropriate date. The ides of March are on the 15th and mark the assassination of Julius Ceaser. Shakespeare's play
Julius Caesar and its line "Beware the Ides of March", defined the time as brooding declaration of doom. Is doom coming to Lex and Lana's
Smallville wedding? Or will
Smallville's most volatile couple actually go through with their wedding. We have some super spoilerish details inside.

the storyline is fine.Dont change it
CW has given us a huge chunk of information to chew on with the February 23rd description of the March 15th Smallville 'Promise'. It goes something like this:
LEX AND LANA'S WEDDING DAY - On the day of Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) and Lana's (Kristin Kreuk) wedding, Lex receives a call from Dr. Langston (guest star Fred Henderson) who threatens to tell Lana the truth about her baby. Lana begins to have second thoughts about marrying Lex and Clark comes to his own realization that he can't let Lana marry Lex and decides to tell her about his secret. However, no one is prepared for what happens when Lionel Luthor (John Glover) steps in.
Will they or won't they? It seems like a foolish question. With Michael Rosenbaum leaving next season, they could get away with allowing the wedding to proceed knowing full well that it is a temporary dynamic. On the other hand, the tension over the impending union has played itself out at this point... a complete breakdown would be cathartic for fans who are just tired of having this tired plot-thread flapping around.
Furthermore, Kyrptonsite.com has no Lana/Lex wedding intensive story lines in their spoilers section which is stocked with goodies up until the next to last episode. If you're a betting person, even money on Lana and Lex calling it quits, perhaps involuntarily, but probably under their own volition.
