We're getting more Oliver (Justin Hartley) on this season of Smallville, but on tonight's episode the guy is suddenly kidnapped. On "Roulette," he's drugged and brought somewhere by this mysterious woman referred to in the title. She's masquerading herself as Victoria (guest star Steph Song) and her target tonight is Oliver.
However, Victoria isn't as bad as she seems. Though she looks capable of cutting someone's throat with a well-manicured nail, she's there to warn Oliver about something. She tells him that he's gotten involved in a dangerous game that might cost him his life. Of course, he's not giving up that easily.
As he fights to live, Oliver later discovers that Victoria/Roulette showed up dead and he's the one being framed for it. He's arrested by the police, but he has to prove his innocence. In comes Chloe (Allison Mack) ready to help and bail out her friend.
On another part of Metropolis, meanwhile, there's Clark (Tom Welling) and Lois (Erica Durance). She berates him for not telling her about Oliver's attempt to kill himself. Suicide is obviously a big deal, and it isn't like Clark to keep that from Lois. Oh, if only she knew how many secrets the guy's been harboring.
We're also getting some Zod and Tess on "Roulette," as the CW states Callum Blue and Cassidy Freeman on the credits. The episode was directed by Kevin Fair, and was written by Genevieve Sparling.

Smallville, titled "Roulette." Lady Luck is definitely not being kind to Oliver, but this hero won't back down. He's got friends to support him, so he has a good chance of getting out of this dilemma with their help.
