Previously on Smallville: Jimmy dumped Chloe after she chose Davis Bloom over him.  Tess Mercer came closer to discovering Clark's secret identity.

It’s Chloe’s birthday, but she doesn’t feel like celebrating ever since her breakup with Jimmy. Oliver drops off a gift from Clark because he’s out of town saving the world with Bart. Dang it, why can’t we watch Clark and Impulse (aka The Flash)? Please bring Kyle Gallner back!

Chloe bitches and moans to Oliver about how Lois’ life is so glamorous and her own is imploding. She has her nose rubbed into it when Lois takes off to fly to Mexico to cover a worker’s revolt.

A magically delicious mystery woman named Zatanna shows up to ask Chloe to make a wish. She does, and the next morning Chloe wakes up in Lois’ body. Incredibly corny and wacky music plays in the background. I predict hijinx will ensue.

Rather than staying at home until this absurdity wears off like any normal person would do, Chloe (or Chlois as I will call her) goes to work at the Daily Planet. Clark is there to point out how tight her shirt is, which earns the wrath of Chlois. She starts mocking the fact that Clark never called Chloe on her birthday. They rush off to report on a crazy man.

Clark grows suspicious when Chlois obeys crosswalks and doesn’t insult him. He catches her when she trips in her silly high heels and she’s surprisingly happy with the way he looks at her. At the scene of the standoff, a cop gives Chlois some money he owes her from a poker game.

The crazy man starts ranting about Zatanna in Latin, and Chlois realizes he’s connected to her body swap. She asks Clark to super speed away to help her, and when he’s confused, she admits that’s she’s really Chloe. Clark isn’t the smartest guy around, so Chlois has to tell him about a thousand personal details about Krypton, Jor-El, Brainiac and other things before he finally figures out she’s really Chloe.
