Allison Mack steps up to direct the episode, which focuses on Lana being kept alive by bizarre experiments of LuthorCorp.  Dr. Grohl (seen on “Arrow,” “Fallout” and once more in “Instinct”) makes an appearance, and is presumably involved in the said experiments.  It has also been said that answers to Lana’s season 7 finale absence and return on “Bride" will be revealed.
