Smallville: The Lost Experience, Oliver helps Tess work through the trauma of seeing her friend die. There’s very little a half-naked hunk can’t cure. Oliver made himself a vow that if he ever got off the island, he’d change his ways and stop being a greedy, spoiled rich boy. He decides to start early, using his bad-ass island fighting skills to incapacitate the kidnappers, meaning they can finally get off the island.
Now cured, Oliver wants to go save Tess, knowing the same person who tried to kill him will probably target her as well. Indeed, the kidnapper is at the Daily Planet, pinning down Tess, saying she’s a hard person to find. I would think the president of LuthorCorp and editor-in-chief of a major newspaper would actually be quite easy to track down. She fights back, and when the kidnapper knocks her out, Clark rushes in for the save.
At Luthor Manor, Oliver stops by to check on Tess, and they reminisce about how they’ve turned into enemies as the heads of rival companies. It boils down to the fact that Tess is angry Oliver never said goodbye when he dumped her upon returning from the island. To mend fences, Tess gives him a file proving that Lionel Luthor was responsible for killing Oliver’s parents. Oliver confronts Clark about whether he knew this, which starts to cause a rift in their friendship.
Clark pries into Lois’ personal life, trying to get her to admit her feelings for Oliver. Clark says that it’s OK to hold onto feelings for a lost flame, since he admits to still watching Lana’s goodbye video every now and then. Lois remains a strong woman, saying she’s not looking for some guy with a hero complex.
Davis returns to Chloe’s place to snoop, seeing all her genius study materials. He uncovers that she’s hiding her super smarts from Jimmy, but he promises her that everyone hides part of who they are, even him.
Finally, Tess tracks down the kidnapper, revealing she paid for his bail. Then she poisons him with the same flower and asks a cab to take him to the hospital where they will kill him with the wrong cure.
Next week on
