Davis asks Chloe to run away with him so that he can avoid persecution like being called a serial killer, and she agrees. There had better still be some traces of Brainiac left in her system, because otherwise Chloe's actions are just about the dumbest things anyone has ever done in the history of the world.
She goes back to the doctor for his opinion, and he warns her that Davis' DNA is highly unstable and dangerous, but extreme emotions like his Chloe obsession are the only way to stop it.
Clark flies over to LuthorCorp to tell Oliver that Davis' body isn't where Oliver allegedly buried him. Proof that Davis is still alive is enough to convince Oliver that Clark needs to kill him. Clark isn't willing to do it because...well, I don't really know. In my opinion, killing a psychotic alien murderer who is also known as the Ultimate Destroyer is one of those times when murder is OK.
Instead, Clark's solution is to grab one of his magic crystals from the Fortress that can be used to open the Phantom Zone. He goes to Chloe for help in tracking Davis, but since she doesn't want her psycho boyfriend to go to the PZ, she sends Clark on a wild goose chase to Alaska.
That night Jimmy sneaks into Chloe's place to steal some money for his fix. Oliver catches him, but things gets a lot worse when Davis sneaks up behind Oliver and knocks him out before turning his sights on Chloe's ex-husband.
The two boys are taken into the basement for some mind games. Davis doesn't really want to kill them, but he can't control himself without Chloe. Oliver tries to calm the beast, but Jimmy keeps antagonizing Davis, offering himself as his next victim because he's already taken everything else.
Davis finally caves until he realizes that Chloe would never forgive him if he killed Jimmy, so he just knocks him out and turns his sights on Oliver as his next victim. He starts choking the dashing playboy, but luckily Clark shows up at just the right moment, as he always does. Clark surveys the situation, grabs Davis and speeds off to the Fortress with him.
