Lois heads to the Ace of Clubs to find Jimmy to get her photos back, but Clark is already there and he hears the mob guy has unlocked Chloe's secret Justice League files. He tries to speed in, but unfortunately the mob is using Kryptonite ink to counterfeit money, so he's completely useless.
Now it's up to Stiletto to save the day. Lois Lane vs. a mob boss and his crew? As crazy as it sounds, what happens is even crazier. Lois is on the roof of the club and jumps through the glass ceiling, falling a long way down, but managing to kick one of the bad guys before landing safely. Once there, Clark jumps in front of a bullet and Lois cracks a bottle over Bruno's head, saving the day.
If that sounded ridiculous and stupid, it was even more silly actually watching it.
While Lois and Jimmy drag Clark out of the Krypto-Money Pit, Chloe drags some garbage bags full of a dead guy into the dumpster outside. Finally she seems to realize that protecting Davis isn't such a good idea because she kneels in the alley and cries.
The next morning Lois is questioning whether dressing up like a superhero and writing about it just to get more press exposure was a good thing. Apparently that moral ambiguity crept up after the print deadline, because she still ran her front page story about Stiletto's miraculous save.
Jimmy hasn't learned his lesson, because he steals some of the Krypto-Money to pay his drug dealer for a fix. This addiction storyline is just absurd and poorly done. The story arc of Elmo's addiction to cookies on Sesame Street was more hardcore than this.
Clark tries to cheer Chloe up, but she's foolish enough to think she can handle toe Davis situation on her own, so she asks for some space. However, Clark does help out someone else as he calls up Lois on a pay phone to give her an exclusive interview with the Red Blue Blur. However, that turns into a therapy session as Lois deals with her inadequacy issues while she brings up the Red Blue Blur's obvious loneliness.
