He starts to change into Doomsday, so Chloe hits the switch and liquid Kryptonite rushes over Davis like a shower. He looks exactly like a guy in one of those creepy colored sweat Gatorade ads. Chloe says goodbye through her tears as Davis slowly succumbs to the green shower.

Later Clark and Chloe bond over the emotional turmoil from killing Davis. He assures her that Oliver Queen is taking care of the messy details regarding Davis’ disappearance. The next day in the barn, Tess shows up as Clark tries once again to deny that he’s an alien. She isn’t fooled, but Clark’s constant, idiotic denials make her realize how this pushed Lex over the edge of sanity.

Tess isn’t one to give up so easily, so she goes back to Luthor Manor and busts out her super secret blue Kryptonian crystal thingy.

At night, Chloe discovers that Davis is still alive, because Kryptonite actually makes him stronger and now he’s invincible. Chloe tries to warn Clark, but Davis says that she is the only person who can quiet his inner demons, so he begs her to stay with him. Like an idiot, she agrees and locks herself in the basement with an immortal Doomsday.


Smallville is taking the next two weeks off for reruns, but when it returns on April 23, Lois Lane takes on her own alter ego as the crime fighting sexy Stiletto, with high heels of justice.
