Chlois and Clark pay a visit to Zatanna’s magic castle to ask her to reverse the curse. She tells them that the curse will wear off as soon as she doesn’t want to be Lois any more. She reveals that she drove the crazy man insane by granting him his wish to have a better understanding of dead languages.

Zatanna turns her sights on Clark, wondering what his one wish would be. She flashes her magic eyes and grants his wish. Chlois wonders what’s changed, and she figures it out when he calls her Lois. They see an old woman being mugged, and all Clark does is call 911. Uh oh, someone is just a normal guy.

They walk back to the Daily Planet and Chlois tries to convince him that he’s a super-powered alien and she’s really Chloe. He doesn’t believe any of it, so she locks them up on the roof. She asks him to open the door, and he grabs the door handle and yanks it right off, claiming it was because the door is rusty. She asks him to listen closely, so he hears specific things on the street, but he just assumes it’s the wonderful acoustics on the roof.

Zatanna shows up once again at Oliver Queen’s office for a little flirting. More important, she wants to get her father’s magic book which was sold at auction to the Luthors. He refuses to help, so she tempts him with her magical ability to grant him one wish. He thinks about it while obsessing over a news article about Lex Luthor’s murder.

The man in green leather makes his return as the Green Arrow invades a LuthorCorp warehouse to track down Zatanna’s missing book. Outside he runs into Zatanna, who figures out his secret identity since she asked Oliver for the book and then the Green Arrow stole the exact same item. He removes his hood and sunglasses, proving just how ridiculous his “disguise” He tries to throw the book into the fire, but she takes it and uses her magic to chain him to a pole.
