Clark shows up just in time to save Chloe’s life from the dagger of Cosmic Boy. He convinces the Legion not to kill her so they go to the barn. Martian Girl telepathically communicates with Chloe, Lightning Lads short circuits Brainiac’s nanites with an shockwave and Cosmic Boy uses his magnetism to pull the metal nanites from her body.

If that sounds like a preposterous plan, it’s because it is, though it of course works. The strangest part is that Clark doesn’t do a single thing to help. Brainiac is now a metal sphere and Chloe, still wearing a bloody wedding dress, wakes up.

The next day, Chloe is all better and heading off to visit her husband in the hospital. She talks to Clark and he learns that all her memories are back, including the one about him being a super-powered alien.

At the Kent farm, the Legion boys fix up the barn while Martian Girl and Lana talk, and while she refuses to tell Lana about her future with Clark, Martian Girl promises that Lana has a special destiny of her own.

Before the Legion leaves, Clark signs the first baseball he ever hit for Lightning Lad to take with him. I’m pretty sure the Lad has a little bit of a gay crush on Kal. They finally give him a ring that will let him time travel to the future to meet the rest of the Legion.

After Clark and Lana discuss their future, we see that 12 days have apparently passed on Doomsday emerges from his chrysalis in the Fortress. Wait, does this mean no more Sam Witwer? Because that would kind of suck.
