News reports have been flying in about the upcoming Smallville movie, making us all feel like the staff of the Daily Planet. But we're not exactly in that league yet. Still, we're doing our best to bring news about the movie event "Absolute Justice," this season's main highlight.
Entertainment Weekly has already unveiled a couple of pictures straight from the CW show's files. The exclusive images have provided much hype for the highly anticipated flick, and you can see why below.
First off, it's the Green Arrow (Justin Hartley) being shot down by JSA member Hawkman (Michael Shanks). What exactly did Oliver do to incur this guy's wrath?
The second picture's our first look at Doctor Fate (Brent Stait), in all his gold-helmet glory. Stargirl (Britt Irvin) stands beside him, looking a bit vexed by what she's witnessing. Maybe she doesn't approve of what Hawkman's doing to the Arrow.
If that's not enough info for the
Smallville movie for you (and it probably isn't), you'll be pleased to know that another casting rumor is taking place. It seems to be founded on some truth, since the source is IMDB.
ComicBookMovie.com has discovered that Ken Lawson will be getting the role of Wesley Dodds, the Sandman for the CW event. That's another name you can add to the list of appearances for "Absolute Justice."
It sounds as though the producers are really making it worth our wait, since they've moved the premiere to February 5. If you've seen this trailer, you'll know there's more to come on "Absolute Justice," and we can't even begin to cover it all.
The JSA portrait at the end of the teaser seems to point out that more members will be heading our way.
ComicBookMovie.com has listed some of their guesses as to the identities of these heroes, but let's have some fun and hear what you have to say about this in the comments.
Don't miss the huge
Smallville event, the TV movie titled "Absolute Justice" on the CW as it airs next year in February.
