Official synopsis for "For the Triumph of Evil" - Another soldier in the army of evil, the Sandman, seeps into the dreams of the residents of Sleepy Hollow. By infiltrating their minds at night, he tortures them to the brink - all because they, at one time, turned a blind eye to justice. When the Sandman seemingly sets his sights on Abbie, she is forced to begin to face her past - and her institutionalized sister, Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood). With Ichabod by her side, and her life at stake, the duo must try to defeat the Sandman and continue their fight against evil.

A new evil appears on this week's Sleepy Hollow. A creature with black hollow eyes. And, there's a venom that will allow Ichabod to control his dreams. Is it safe, though?

"Family Ties"

Abbie and Ichabod head to visit her sister in the sanitarium. Abbie doesn't believe her sister will help because she's a cop and her sister is locked up for being a thief. Ichabod questions if that's the case, why is she in mental hospital. Her sister stole $4000 in survival gear to prepare for the End of Days.

"Miss Mills"

Ichabod visits Abbie's sister, Mrs. Mills. Their first exchange includes Ichabod's introduction to the word "boyfriend." And, she names him "Tall, Dark and British" and "Icky." She's quite charming for someone who's supposed to be insane.

Sleepy Hollow airs on Mondays at 9 pm ET on FOX.
