Welcome to Silicon Valley! HBO released the first trailer for their new comedy from Mike Judge (Office Space, Beavis & Butthead) coming this April. The 8-episode series was inspired by Judge's own Silicon Valley experience in the 1980s.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

Silicon Valley stars Thomas Middleditch (Search Party, The Office), T.J. Miller (Mash UpSeeking a Friend for the End of the World), Zach Woods (In the Loop, The Office), Kumail Nanjiani (Franklin & Bash, Portlandia), Martin Starr (Freaks and Geeks, Party Down), Josh Brener (Glory Daze, The Internship), Christopher Evan Welch (The Master, Vicky Cristina Barcelona) and Amanda Crew (Jobs, Charlie St. Cloud). And guest stars, Matt Ross (Magic City, Big Love).

Richard (Middleditch) lives in a Hacker Hostel while working at a tech company, Hooli. He developed what he thought was a limited music program, but it turned out to be much more. When a Hooli executive realizes the true potential of the music site's search algorithm, a bidding war breaks out for Richard's program.

Check out the Silicon Valley season 1 trailer.

Richard has to decide whether to take the money or keep his company. Either decision will have ramifications and the choice he makes comes with plenty. The series is full of awkward situations, difficult decisions, and plenty of laughs.

Did the trailer have you cackling on your couch? Will you be checking it out in April?

Silicon Valley premieres Sunday, April 6 on HBO.
