Reality TV fans brace yourselves for another season of the Bravo series
Shear Genius, which follows 12 contenders in the scissor fight to the finish to come up with the best fashionable hair ever. Last summer, Bravo announced that
Shear Genius will be returning for another year and in January, auditions were held to get the cream of the crop amongst the hundreds of aspiring hair-dressers across the country.
More recently, Bravo announced the final 12 who are set to battle it out in the reality show that will challenge contenders to brush up their cutting skills. The network has gathered 12 of the most talented, spunkiest hair-dressers in a fight to the finish.

Jaclyn Smith will be returning to her hosting duties, while stylist
Rene FrisKim Vo and Allure west coast editor
Kelly Atterton, both of whom will serve as lead judges.
The challenges leading up to the finale will train and test the contenders to see who deserves to win the "Shear Genius" title and a total of $100,000 to start their own hairstyling business. Prizes include an apprenticeship with Nexxus Salon Hair Care and a chance to style hair for an Allure magazine feature.
This year, Bravo gathered contenders from all over the United States, from Colorado to California. Meet Charlie, a 38-year-old from Denver, Colorado, joined by
Daniel, 28-year-old originally from Tallahassee, Florida.
Dee is 37 years old and is originally from San Antonio, Texas while
Gail is a 25-year-old originally hailing from Dayton, Ohio. Thirty-six-year-old
Glenn is from Los Angeles, California while 37-year-old
Matthew hails from Dallas, Texas.
Meredith, 36, is from Cleveland, Ohio, while
Nekisa is a 29-year-old from San Francisco, California.
Nicole, 24, is from Houston, Texas, while
Oshun is a 31-year-old from Cleveland, Ohio.
Parker, 31, is from Miami, Florida, while
Paulo is a 37-year-old from San Jose, California.

Shear Genius on June 25 at 10pm.
