'Shear Genius' Finale Airs Tonight

During the last episode of Bravo's Shear Genius, we saw the final four stylists trying to depict each of the four seasons and do it avant-garde.  One of the favorites, Daniel, was eliminated.

The finale of the so-called Project Runway for hair-styling enthusiasts ends its second season tonight at 10pm on Bravo, with the editor of Allure magazine Linda Wells judging the final three remaining contestants via personal one-on-one interviews.  The three finalists – Charlie, Dee, and Nicole – are vying for the $100,000 prize. The winner also gets a Nexxus Salon HairCare.   According to sources, “The final trio must cut, color and style the hair of various models ranging from ages 16 to 60.”

The second season of Shear Genius brings back host Jaclyn Smith and mentor Rene Fris, plus new weekly judges and a host of guest judges.

For its debut season, Anthony Morrison was named Shear Genius.

“I'm so happy to be Shear Genius... I can't even put it into words. It means so much," the 40-year-old England-native said.  Ironically, it wasn't him who was given a big break.  While he managed to snag the obligatory prices, it was Tabatha Coffey, the sharp-tongued blonde who didn't even make it to the final six on Shear Genius' first season who was given her own show.

Tabatha's Salon Makeover follows her as she travels from salon to salon in the country in an attempt to transform the not-so-appetizing ones into how beauty salons are supposed to look.  She successfully completes the job in a week, or she urges the owners to close shop altogether.

The premiere of the second season of Shear Genius was on June 25.  Sally Hershberger and Michael Carl were replaced by Kim Vo and Kelly Atterton.

Don't forget to tune in at 10pm tonight on Bravo to see who is named Shear Genius.
