Rene Fris Biography:

Rene Fris put his successful hair salon in Denmark up for sale and relocated to New York City in 1999 in the hopes of making a name for himself in the United States. The risky move was worth it, as Fris was able to work for prestigious establishments such as Elizabeth Arden’s Red Door Salon and John Frieda Salons. Among his other accomplishments are writing two books, becoming the Grooming specialist on the European version of the show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, creating his own grooming product line and modeling under the management of the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency. He is known for creating a unique hairstyle for each of his clients.

Fris is currently appearing as a judge on the Bravo reality television series, Shear Genius.
