Jaclyn Smith Biography:

Born on October 26, 1947 in Houston, Texas, Jaclyn Smith is best known for her portrayal of Kelly Garrett in the 70’s television hit, Charlie’s Angels. Prior to this, she acted in the made-for-tv film, Escape From Bogen County, which she eventually followed with a role in The Users. As she was in the process of divorcing her husband, Dennis Cole, she appeared in Nightkill, a suspense thriller that did not receive much exposure in the theaters. Smith had more success with big screen hits like Windmills of the Gods, The Bourne Identity, Florence Nightingale, George Washington, Settle the Score and Déjà Vu. Her work in the film Rage of Angels earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress. In 2003, she appeared in the Charlie’s Angel’s film adaptation, Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, and relived her character from the original television series.

Currently, Smith is back in the small screen, this time appearing in the reality television series, Shear Genius, where she serves as one of the judges.
