After showing off her conspicuous “try-sexual” appetite on Sex and the City as Samantha Jones, Kim Cattrall will once again rediscover her sexuality on yet another HBO pilot.  According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 51-year-old actress is set to star on the television series Sensitive Skin, an adaptation of the British comedy.

Written and executive produced by Emmy-winning The Sopranos scribes Mitchell Burgess and Robin Green, HBO's Sensitive Skin is a sex-themed single-camera comedy project set in New York.

Currently in development, Sensitive Skin centers on a middle-aged wife and mother (Kim Cattrall) in New York who relives her sexuality and begins to question her place in the world, as well as the choices she has made in life.  The show is reportedly part of the development deal Cattrall inked with HBO when she signed on for Sex and the City: The Movie, which premiered in the United States with an unprecedented $55.7 million three-day gross.

Sensitive Skin is the second post-Sex and the City collaboration between Cattrall and HBO.  A year after Sex and the City ended, she executive produced and starred in the documentary Kim Cattrall: Sexual Intelligence.

Cattrall made her film debut in Otto Preminger's Rosebud in 1975.  After a series of TV guest appearances, she played the part of Dr. Gabrielle White on The Incredible Hulk.  Her work in television paid off, quickly making the transition to cinema.  She starred opposite Jack Lemmon in his Oscar-nominated movie Tribute in 1980 and subsequently starred in the critically acclaimed Ticket to Heaven.

Some of her notable roles included Miss Honeywell in Porky's and Lieutenant Valeris in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.  She also played Kurt Russell's brainy flame in the cult classic Big Trouble in Little China, while her lead role in Mannequin proved a huge success with audiences.
