As Scrubs moves to its new home base, ABC, for its eighth season, more changes await the medical professionals of Sacred Heart hospital.  While show creator Bill Lawrence has already teased that fans will surely enjoy what's in store for the upcoming season, TV Guide has more to reveal.

According to TV Guide, Betsy Beutler, Eliza Coupe and Aziz Ansari have signed on to appear on Scrubs on a recurring basis.  As of this moment, there is no word yet on their character description other than the fact that they will serve as new interns at Sacred Heart.

Most recently known for her role on The Black Donnellys as Joanie, Beutler has been cast to guest star on shows like Cold Case, As the World Turns, One Life to Live, and Third Watch.  In the big screen, she has worked on the comedy Wasting Away and the drama Spinning Into Butter.

Coupe, on the other hand, is known for her role on the comedy series 12 Miles of Bad Road as Gaylor Shakespeare.  Prior to that, she has appeared on Unhitched, The Flight of the Conchords, and the film The Day the World Saved Shane Sawyer.

Just like Coupe, Ansari has also appeared on The Flight of the Conchords as the character Sinjay, a fruit vendor who discriminates against Bret (Bret McKenzie) and Jemaine (Jemaine Clement) because he believes they are from Australia.  Most recently, he has been cast in Human Giant as one of the stars of the critically acclaimed sketch comedy for which he also serves as a writer and executive producer.
