Zach Braff, cast member on the television series
Scrubs, is currently taking a break from work since he hasn’t had a vacation for six years. Determined to make this summer his most memorable vacation ever, he has decided have lots of fun.
"I haven't had a vacation in six years and so I decided to take June and July off. I am having the best summer of my life! I'm hanging out with my New York friends, my Jersey boys, my family and loving every single second of it. And yes, I am dating,” Zach Braff wrote on his MySpace page.
Since 2001, Zach Braff has been playing the role of Dr. John Michael "J.D." Dorian on
Scrubs. In line with this, he has been nominated for three Golden Globes and an Emmy for portraying the geeky and offbeat doctor.
"When we shoot
Scrubs I spend every waking hour of my life in an abandoned and haunted hospital. All I can date there are ghosts and they tend to be horrible snugglers," Braff said.
Braff, a 32-year old native of New Jersey, was also credited for films like
Broken Hearts Club,
Manhattan Murder Mystery,
Chicken Little, and
The Last Kiss. Previously, he dated actress Bonnie Somerville around the same time he worked on the 2004 film Garden State. Later that summer, he dated pop singer Mandy Moore, and was even romantically linked to Jessica Simpson.
Most recently, the
Scrubs actor was spotted with Drew Barrymore. According to the New York Post, the pair was seen holding hands as they strolled down Lafayette Street last Saturday. Later that day, they were spotted at the Beauty Bar nightclub. Sources also revealed that the two were making out on the dance floor. On the other hand, this wasn’t the first time the pair was seen together. In February, Braff and Drew Barrymore were reportedly flirting at an after-party for Drew Barrymore's hosting gig on
