Are you interested in watching the second seasons of ABC's dramas but don't want to commit until you've seen season 1? If so, this is your lucky day -- the first seasons of Once Upon a Time, Revenge and Scandal are all available for Netflix instant viewing as of September 10.

Why this generosity? Basically, ABC wants to get you hooked right before the shows' second seasons begin later this month. So maybe it's not so generous...

As any Netflix addict could tell you, the subscription service can be a great way to catch up on older shows. AMC saw its critically praised drama, Breaking Bad, take a jump in ratings after Netflix released earlier seasons for viewing, and many other veteran shows have followed suit. You can now catch up on everything from Parks and Recreation (seasons 1-4) to Sons of Anarchy (seasons 1-3) via the service.

This new offer for Once Upon a Time, Revenge and Scandal, however, represents a bit of a shift -- each program has only a single season of programming needed to catch up. The idea, presumably, is to bring in new viewers to keep ABC's biggest new drama successes growing.

Ted Sarandos, the chief content officer for Netflix, said in a statement: "We are thrilled that Netflix will become the exclusive subscription destination for the first seasons of these successful ABC shows. We know our members like to immerse themselves in their favorite shows and Scandal, Revenge and Once Upon a Time are the kind of smart, serialized dramas that Netflix members love."

Scandal season 2 premieres on Thursday, September 27 at 10pm. Once Upon a Time begins its second season on Sunday, September 30 at 8pm. Revenge follows with its season 2 on Sunday, September 30 at 10pm.

So you should have plenty of time to catch up!
