Kenneth “Kenny” Johnson is an American actor, born on July 13, 1963 in Vermont. Though he suffered from dyslexia, he still became an arm wrestling champion in his youth and a skilled motorcyclist. Kenny Johnson would later begin a brief stint in modeling, doing one of the first commercials for shoe company LA Gear, and then a number of supporting roles in various TV series. Among these are The Red Shoe Diaries, Grace Under Fire, Pacific Blue, Just Shoot Me,
The Shield , Sliders,
Smallville and Pensacola: Wings of Gold. He also appeared in the movies Blade and The Ungodly.
Detective Ham Tipton is played by Kenny Johnson in TNT’s upcoming television series Saving Grace. He is Grace’s partner on the police force.
