Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who is perhaps best known for his role as the charming Zack Morris on Saved by the Bell
, has separated from his wife Lisa Ann Russell after nearly 14 years of marriage, according to People
. The couple has two children, 6-year-old Michael Charles, and 4-year-old Ava Lorenn.

Though an official statement about the cause of their split hasn't been disclosed, word on the street is that Russell's partying ways has ultimately caused tension in the marriage. On the other hand, a source refutes this allegation by saying the rumors that she's a party animal aren't true, adding "She's a great mom. The two of them couldn't be more hands on with the kids. Their number one focus is definitely their family."
In spite of the split, Gosselaar's rep tells People
, "They both remain focused on their family and are jointly committed to their children."
Gosselaar first met Russell on Saved by the Bell
, where she had a minor role. The two tied the knot in August 1996.
