This weekend's Saturday Night Live
couldn't have come at a better time for host Jonah Hill because he was just nominated for an Oscar
for his role in The Wolf of Wall Street
, competing against the likes of Jared Leto, Bradley Cooper, Michael Fassbender and Barkhad Abdi. It's tough competition, with Leto currently the frontrunner after his Golden Globe win, but for Hill, Saturday is going to be all about making us laugh.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
This will be the actor's third time hosting SNL
. The first time was in 2008, and the second in 2012. The musical guest will be Bastille.
NBC has released a series of promos featuring Jonah Hill and cast member Taran Killam. Hosting three times is an SNL hat trick, which means he gets hats thrown at him. Jonah hurts himself in the process and Taran cancels the show -- he's only kidding ... we hope.
Jonah's film The Wolf of Wall Street has made history with its use of the F-bombs. And since that word can't be said on network television, Jonah feels the need in the promo to use that word a bunch of times to get it out of his system now.
Along with wearing a charm bracelet, Jonah also wants to sign a spot on Taran's body after being congratulated on his Oscar nomination. Taran's not having any of it, but Jonah has his way when he signs the SNL cast member's tongue. Did he really get permanent marker on his tongue or was it fake? Keep watching until the end of the video for an outtake that reveals the answer.
Are you looking forward to seeing Jonah Hill host for the third time? Do you think there will be any sketches about the use of swear words in Wolf of Wall Street?
Saturday Night Live airs Saturdays at 11:35pm on NBC.
