Wayne Campbell of Wayne's World and Austin Powers from the Austin Powers movie franchise are just a few of the many roles popularized by Mike Myers.  The 45-year-old actor has greatly established himself as one of the most sought-after comedians in Hollywood nowadays, scoring numerous awards and continuously landing film projects until 2010.  Soon, he will return to television where many of his iconic characters started. On June 15 at 9pm on NBC, he'll be introducing his most memorable sketches in front of a live studio audience as Saturday Night Live presents “The Best of Mike Myers.”

On this special Saturday Night Live episode, Myers will be sharing some personal favorite sketches he performed with late great castmates Phil Hartman and Chris Farley.  Joining Myers are current cast members such as Fred Armisen, Seth Meyers, Amy Poehler, Andy Samberg, Kenan Thompson and Kristen Wiig.

Myers was a long-time cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1989 to 1995.  During his stint on the variety sketch comedy, he became a favorite with his signature characters, including Simon, Dieter, Linda Richman, and Wayne Campbell from Wayne's World.

In 1992, Myers and comedian Dana Carvey adapted Wayne's World into a full-length motion picture based on the Saturday Night Live sketch.  The movie turned out to be one of Myers' most successful projects.  After his departure on Saturday Night Live, he introduced Austin Powers in the film Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, where he played both the title role and the villain. Although it only made a modest impact at the box office, it successfully spawned Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and Austin Powers in Goldmember.

At present, Myers stars in the comedy film The Love Guru, which aired some promotional clips during the season 7 finale of American Idol.  The film is due for release on June 20.
