Chris Kattan and Sunshine Tutt got engaged in 2006 on Christmas Eve at the home of Tutt's grandparents in Gainesville, Texas. They had been dating since spring 2005.
Kattan was a member of the improv/sketch comedy troupe The Groundlings in Los Angeles but catapulted to stardom when he moved to New York City to work on
Saturday Night Live. During his stint on the variety sketch comedy, he introduced a bunch of quirky characters such as Peepers, Mango, Azrael Abyss, Kyle DeMarco from The DeMarco Brothers, Gay Hitler, Suel Forrest and, most notably, one half of the Butabi Brothers with fellow
Saturday Night Live cast member Will Ferrell. Kattan's trademark partnership with Ferrell continued in the 1998 comedy film
A Night at the Roxbury.
After
Saturday Night Live, Kattan remained active in the comedy circuit as he was cast in
Totally Awesome, The Year Without a Santa Claus, Two Dreadful Children, and
Undead or Alive, in which he starred opposite James Denton of
Desperate Housewives fame.
This year, Kattan will be starring a series of movies, starting off with the drama
Tanner Hall. Then, he'll be lending his voice in the animated flick
Foodfight! before doing some hilarious antics in
Hard Breakers and
Hollywood & Wine. Moreover, he will also serve as the host to the new CBS game show called
Gameshow in My Head.
