If you’re a fan of MTV’s
Run’s House, then you’re already familiar with Team Blackout, the hip-hop trio consisting of
Rev. Run’s oldest teenage son
Jojo Simmons, and his childhood friends Zach and Reggie. For the past four-years, millions of
Run's House fans have watched Team Blackout develop, on-air, into a full-fledged group to watch out for. Now, the trio can boast all their efforts and hard work as they release their much awaited debut album called “Lights Out.”
Since the 7th grade, the teenage
Run’s House star and his friends have been jamming together. But it wasn’t until the 2003 New York City Blackout that Jojo, Zach and Reggie decided to officially form their group. Hence, the name Team Blackout. Since then, they've been putting their act together, in the studio, on stage and even on the television series
Run’s House.
