As reported previously,
Angela Simmons is currently working hard in the studio in preparation for her debut single “Center of Attention.” While this marks the
Run's House star's attempt to make it as a solo artist in the music scene, this also serves as her marketing effort to promote the launch of the new Pastry sneaker called Glam Pie.
Angela, who crated the wildly successful Pastry brand along with her sister and
Run's House co-star
Vanessa Simmons, created the song "Center of Attention" to reportedly herald the arrival of Pastry's newest offering, which is described as a summertime treat for the feet and “a key ingredient for warm-weather merriment.”
“Glam Pie is a colorful, fun sneaker with its own ‘soundtrack.' Wearing Glam Pie will make you the ‘Center of Attention,' the 20-year-old
Run's House star said in a statement.
Aside from Angela's news song, which is available as a free download on
Pastrykicks.com, Angela has also come up with a music video, which was conceived as gift to supporters of the Pastry brand. The said video, which is set for its world premiere on July 24 on the Pastry website, is expected to highlight the song's playful sound and festive attitude.
Moreover, there will also be specially created television commercials that will run extensively throughout the summer to introduce Glam Pie to consumers.
In the meantime, fans can catch Angela Simmons and the rest of the Simmons family on
Run's House, the reality series that takes viewers inside the home
Rev. Run, also known as hip-hop music pioneer Joseph Simmons, and his family. The new season sheds light on the Simmons' blazing new trails across the map, while Rev. Run relives the glory days when he joins friend Kid Rock on tour and
Justine Simmons holds down the fort in Saddle River with the latest addition to the family, baby Miley.
Run's House airs every Wednesday 10pm ET/PT on MTV.
