It's been a big year for the two young women from Run's House
. Angela Simmons
and Vanessa Simmons
have been working on their shoe collection, Pastry Kicks, as well as pursuing their independent endeavors. Angela has continued her work in the magazine industry, while Vanessa got a role on Guiding Light
. Most recently, the two were honored by being asked by the Girl Scouts to act as business role models for other young women.
The two Run's House
stars have a lot to be happy about as 2007 comes to a close, and they recently reflected on the year.
Angela recently updated their fans via the Pastry Kicks blog. She wrote that she and Vanessa are thankful for their fans.
"We have had so much fun this year, working on the Pastry line, seeing it come out after all our work, it has really been amazing. We are soooo lucky, and happy, that you guys have liked the shoes so much, we are so grateful for you. You have sent us so many encouraging messages, the response was better than we could have ever hoped, and we have you all to thank for it!!"
The two have returned to the East Coast from Los Angeles, CA, in order to spend some time with the rest of the Run's House crew. The break has given them time to also plan for the year ahead.
Angela wrote, "We are really looking forward to spending the next week with our loved ones, and hope that you guys have a great holiday season. We will be back early in 2008, and we hope you all keep visiting the site. We have so much in store, we are REALLY excited about it. You guys have seen the previews of the bags and other new accessories, but we have some GREAT surprises coming out for you!!"
