Russell “Russy” Simmons, the son of Joseph Simmons with his second wife Justine, is nine years old. He is nicknamed Russy, and is named after his father's older brother, Russell Simmons. His younger sister Victoria Anne died at birth, leaving the family devastated. His father, Joseph is the co-founder of the hip-hop group Run-DMC. He is also a reverend at Zoe Ministries where he met his second wife, and mother of Russy, Justine. Justine has another son with Joseph, Daniel or "Diggy" for short. Joseph has three children (two girls and a boy) with his first wife Vanessa.


In MTV's reality series Run's House, Russy Simmons plays himself along with his family. He is the youngest among all children.
