What Are They Up To? Runaway's Nathan Gamble
Sunday, July 15, 2007

runawayNathan Gamble got his television break on short-lived drama series Runaway, which follows a family frequently on the run from the law and from a killer.  He portrayed the character Tommy Rader, the younger son of Paul Rader (Donnie Wahlberg) and Lily Rader (Leslie Hope) and brother to Hannah Rader (Sarah Ramos) and Henry Rader (Dustin Milligan).  As the youngest, he had difficulty in keeping up lies regarding his family secret.  Unfortunately, the series was officially canceled on October 18, 2006, only airing three out of the 13 episodes ordered by The CW.

Shortly after Runaway, Nathan Gamble landed a part in the film Saving Sam.  The comedy featured him as the character Sam, along with Jennifer Bobiwash and Amanda Troop.  The movie was about an innovative young woman who proposes to share her ex-boyfriend with her sister.

Recently, he has been cast on Victor Fresco's comedy project called Deeply Irresponsible.  The FOX TV pilot revolves around the transformation of an uptight family when their unrestrictive grandfather comes to live with them.  Larry Joe Campbell, Tom Conti and Macey Cruthird have also been included in the principle cast.

On November 21, Nathan Gamble returns to the big screen as part of the horror flick The Mist.  He plays the role of Billy in the plot about an eerie mist with horrendous creatures that surrounds a town in Maine, forcing the citizens to struggle for survival.

Last but not the least, the former Runway actor stars as James Gordon Jr. in the much-awaited movie The Dark Knight.  Following the film Batman Begins, the plot features Batman (Christian Bale) as he allies with Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) to take out the remaining criminal organizations that plague Gotham City.  Directed by Christopher Nolan, the film is scheduled for release on July 18, 2007.
