Aside from his exposure in the silver screen,
Donnie Wahlberg was known as Paul Rader on the drama series
Runaway. His character was wrongly accused of the murder of Erin Baxter, a beautiful young associate in his law firm. As the patriarch of his family, he relocated them from Potomac, Maryland to Bridgewater, Iowa to hide away from the law and the killer that’s hunting them.
After his short-lived stint on
Runaway, Donnie Wahlberg landed a role in the tele-film
Kings of South Beach. The show explored the true story of a Miami Beach nightclub owner who takes a young employee under his wing, while trying to avoid bankruptcy and the mafia. The former
Runaway actor starred as Andy Burnett, alongside Jason Gedrick as Chris Troiano.
He also graced several shows and events, including
The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet and the
World Poker Tour.
Most recently, he was featured in the horror-thriller
Dead Silence. Directed by James Wan, the plot revolved around a widower who returned to his hometown to bring light to his wife’s murder, leading to the ghost of a murdered ventriloquist. He played the role of Detective Jim Lipton with Ryan Kwanten as Jamie Ashen and Amber Valletta as Ella Ashen.
Donnie Wahlberg returns to the television loop as part of the television series
