CBS' Rules of Engagement
is just beginning its sixth season and there's already a good deal of buzz about spoilers regarding what viewers can expect from Jeff, Audrey and their eccentric friends.
'Rules of Engagement' Season 6 Preview Guide: Things Could Get Dirty
Surprise! It's on Thursdays
The biggest Rules of Engagement
spoiler to this point has definitely been when it is airing. CBS cancelled How to be a Gentleman
essentially after two episodes (which somehow still felt like one show too many) and swapped Rules of Engagement
into its place, in the comfy lead-in bosom of The Big Bang Theory
. It's really been the story of Rules of Engagement
throughout its run; it has never gained the traction that it probably deserves from network executives. However, it's carved out a sizable fan base that could grow given its new time slot. If the rumored spoilers of what's ahead on this season of Rules of Engagement
are any indication, viewers won't be disappointed.

Russell Wants Out
Last season of Rules of Engagement
ended with Russell (David Spade) rushing into a ill-conceived marriage with Liz (Wendi McClendon-Covey). Unsurprisingly, Russell has some remorse about that decision and is in a panic to get out of it. Show creator Tom Hertz is excited about the comedic possibilities that have arose out of the situation and is quick to point out that Liz (Wendi McClendon-Covey) is going to be far from accommodating to her new husband's needs.
Adam and Jennifer are Still Engaged
It would be great if I were able to report the huge Rules of Engagement
spoiler that Adam (Oliver Hudson) and Jennifer (Bianca Kajilch) will finally be getting married this season, but nothing has been confirmed on that front. This season the couple is supposed to be getting into more serious planning and there will be problems that arise from that, but for now it looks like the engagement will extend on past six seasons. Are you starting to lose patience with their relationship?
Jeff and Audrey will Have a Baby
How's that for an emphatic Rules of Engagement
spoiler. Of course we know that the child will be carried by Brenda (Sara Rue), but despite some bumps in the road throughout the season, viewers can rest assured that at long last Jeff (Patrick Warburton) and Audrey (Megyn Price) can begin their family. Jeff (Patrick Warburton) will actually get some parenting training in his treatment of Brenda (Sara Rue), as he takes an intrusive involvement into her life in the hopes that he can ensure his future child isn't in trouble.
