
Shiri Appleby was popularly known as Liz Parker on the science fiction teen series
Roswell. She attended Roswell High School and was best friends with Alex Whitman and Maria DeLuca. Although her relationship with the alien-human hybrid Max Evans was full of obstacles and hindrances, she ended up marrying him in the final episode of the series.

Roswell ended, Appleby became visible in the silver screen with films such as
Swimfan,
The Skin Horse,
The Battle of Shaker Heights, and
Undertow. She resurfaced on the television circuit, appearing in tele-films like
Darklight, 1/4life, Everything You Want and
Pizza My Heart. Most recently, she starred as the character Anya on
Six Degrees, a drama series about six residents of New York City and their connections with one another.
Apple has completed filming
To Love and Die in L.A., an action television pilot about a young woman who deals with her abandonment issues with her estranged dad who happens to be a contract killer that eventually recruits her into his line of work. She star as Hildy, along with Tim Matheson, Peter DeLuise, Frances Fisher, Ivan Sergei and Tyron Leitso to name a few. Later this year, she stars in the movie
Charlie Wilson’s War, a drama about the secret dealings of a Texas congressman in Afghanistan. Directed by Mike Nichols, the film stars Tom Hanks as Charlie Wilson and Julia Roberts as Joanne Herring. Last but not the least, she will be portraying the role of Lila romantic-thriller
Wake. Slated for 2008,
Wake also features Kiele Sanchez as Carys, Sprague Grayden as Hannah, and Bruno Campos as Vernez.
