Jason Behr drew attention when he was cast as Max Evans on the television series
Roswell. As an alien-human hybrid and clone of the fallen king of his home world Antar, he possessed healing powers and was able to change the molecular structure of objects, as well as produce a force field to protect himself. Apart from his struggle to hide his true identity from the authorities, another thing that the show focused on was his dramatic love affair with Liz Parker.

Following
Roswell, Behr worked on numerous films. He was cast in
Happily Even After, a romantic comedy directed by Unsu Lee, portrayed the role of Doug in the horror film
The Grudge, played the character Ben Cohen in the drama
Man of God, and took the lead role in the dark psychological drama
Shooting Livien, in which he played the New York musician John Livien. In an attempt to regain exposure on television, he took the role of Michael Warden on
The Way, and Paul Fisher on
Company Man. Unfortunately, both pilots were never aired.
In August, Behr stars in the action-fantasy film entitled
D-War as the lead character Ethan. Directed by Hyung-rae Shim, the film is based on the Korean legend about unknown creatures returning to destroy the planet. The cast also includes Amanda Brooks, Robert Forster, Aimee Garcia, and Craig Robinson. In addition, Behr has three films that are still pending for release. He stars as Eliot Gast in the drama-thriller
Senseless, a film based on Stona Fitch’s novel about a rich businessman whose brutal kidnapping and torture are streamed online as part of a reality television show. He plays yet another lead role in
The Tattooist, a drama-thriller about an artist named Jake Sawyer who unknowingly releases a deadly spirit upon his attempt to learn traditional tattooing. Last but not the least, he stars as Jack Frost in the movie
Frost, a drama directed by Steve Clark, which is currently filming.
