Marjorie “Jackie” Harris is played by Laurie Metcalf in the award-winning television comedy Roseanne. Roseanne’s younger sister, she’s an intelligent and warm individual, yet also highly sensitive and an underachiever. Lacking self-confidence and faith in her own abilities, she sometimes lets Roseanne take charge of her life, which has caused tension between the two of them. She becomes livelier and more colorful as time goes on, even after experiencing a number of unstable relationships, and often gets seemingly crazy ideas. Jackie has worked in a factory, as a police officer, and as a truck driver.
