A group of friends figures out the great mysteries of life and love as they move in together in a Manhattan apartment on ABC Family's comedy series, Roommates.  Led by the awkward Mark (Tyler Francavilla), these characters stumble upon everyday revelations as they try their best to get along despite their unique personalities. 

It's a dream come true for Mark when he runs into his old high-school crush, Katie (Dorian Brown).  As the two soon grow closer, he finds out that she's still in love with her on-again/off-again boyfriend.  It gets even more complicated for Mark when he becomes roommates with Katie, and he doesn't exactly hit it off with her best friend, Hope (Tamera Mowry).

The strong-willed television executive, also Katie's roommate, is career-oriented and completely focused on her job.  But Mark later learns that she no longer has one.  She's been working at a coffee shop and is keeping it a secret.  She has to learn to loosen up, and she might just find a confidant in Thom (David Weidoff), Mark's former roommate and friend, who instantly takes a liking to her.

The fourth individual to reside in the apartment is James (Tommy Dewey), who works in the crazy world of investment.  To kick back and relax from life in general, he's decided to watch every feeble attempt Mark has made to win Katie's favor.  Taking great pleasure in this, he hands out relationship advice as if he'll never run out.  However, he's not really doing too well for himself in that field.




Created by supervising producers Robin French and Kieron Quirke, along with Matt Green, Roommates was executive-produced by those behind Reba and Rita Rocks: Chris Case, Mindy Schutheis, and Michael Hanel, as well as John Ziffren.  Mitch Hunter and Jana Hunter are co-executive producers.

Roommates kicks off ABC Family's first-ever one-hour comedy block, which airs Mondays at 9:00 10:00 PM.
