Magni Asgeirsson was born on December 1, 1978 in Iceland. His interest in music sparked at an early age which prompted him to form his own band. Later, he joined the band called SHAPE which stands for "Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe" and then later, he was recruited as the lead singer for the band Á Móti Sól which became a popular band in Iceland. The band produced 6 albums, two of which went gold.

Moreover, he became part of the reality television show Rock Star: Supernova. He ended up being 4th place in the competition.
